Angelica Wilson-Secretary
Angelica Wilson is a passionate and dedicated social services professional with years of experience working with diverse populations. She takes a compassionate, client-centered approach to every role she takes on. She is always striving to support individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments.
She holds a B.A. in Sociology from Norfolk State University and has built a strong foundation in mental health and child welfare. Her background includes serving as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), where she has provided strength-based and supportive therapeutic interventions to adults with co-occurring disorders, as well as at-risk youth. She has also worked as an adoption worker for the City of Norfolk, helping children and families navigate the adoption journey with empathy, guidance, and care.
Over the years, Angelica has gained valuable knowledge and insight that continue to shape her work. She is committed to promoting resilience, healing, and empowerment within the communities she serve.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring new hobbies, and staying connected to causes that matters most to her.

Laquessa Dozier-Board Member
LaQuessa Dozier is a compassionate healthcare professional, entrepreneur, and dedicated community advocate with over a decade of nursing experience. A proud holder of a Master’s degree in Nursing, LaQuessa has spent her career committed to serving others—both at the bedside and in the community.
After 10 years of hands-on nursing, LaQuessa transitioned her passion for care into leadership by founding Caring for Others, a home health company based in Columbia, South Carolina. Beyond her professional endeavors, LaQuessa is an active member of the Junior League of Columbia, where she volunteers her time to initiatives that uplift and support the local community. Her involvement in community outreach reflects her belief that true leadership starts with service.
Known for her warmth, resilience, and unwavering work ethic, LaQuessa is admired for her ability to connect with people on a personal level. She is passionate about mentoring others, especially women in healthcare and business, and is always looking for ways to inspire, uplift, and make a meaningful difference.
Whether she’s caring for a patient, organizing a volunteer event, or mentoring a young professional, LaQuessa leads with heart. Her journey is fueled by a simple yet powerful belief: that everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and cared for with compassion.

Brittany Primmer-Treasurer
Brittany Primmer is a Navy Veteran, a Virginia Licensed Cosmetologist and Instructor. She serves as Treasurer for Purple Service Announcement, bringing a strong background in business ownership, financial management, and community-focused leadership.
Witha Bachelor's degree in Workforce and Professional Studies and a minor in Psychology, Brittany combines strategic thinking with a deep understanding of people and operations.
Before her current role, Brittany owned and operated a licensed day and child care center, where she managed budgeting, payroll, compliance, and daily operations. She now owns and operates a beauty salon, applying her entrepreneurial skills to lead with efficiency, innovation, and integrity.
Brittany is passionate about empowering others through education, professional development, and supportive services-values that align closely with the mission of PSA. As Treasurer, she is committed to ensuring transparent, responsible financial stewardship that helps sustain and grow the organization's impact.

Justine Peña-Advocate
Justine Pena is a native of Virginia Beach, VA. She currently possess a Bachelors degree in Applied Behavioral Science & a Masters degree in Education with a specialization in Family & Community. Both were received from Ashford University.
Justine is a realtor in the Hampton Roads area & she loves to play the flute in her spare time. She is also a volunteer for her church “Wave”. Her passion for helping others through her own experience has led her to be an advocate for Purple Service Announcement. She often says, “it’s an alignment with my own heart’s passion”.
She believes that her passion is fundamental to others & we only keep what we have, by giving it away!
