  • Does your organization only support women?

    Though domestic violence is prevalent amongst men and women, PSA only has the capacity to serve women at this time.

  • Do you accept clothing donations?

    We absolutely do. We accept gently worn clothing that is free from smoke scents, stains, tears and deeply embedded stains. We accept shoes that are gently worn as well. Free of holes and smells. Survivors are starting a new life and may need clothing and shoes for job interviews are even the new life they are beginning and we want them to have the best experience receiving items that make them feel good. Please email us to schedule an appointment for drop off. All donations are tax deductible and you will be provide a receipt upon request.

  • What areas do you serve?

    We serve the Hampton Roads area to include all 7 Cities. Our services rendered are based on staffing, funding, and resource availability. If we are unable to help, we do have resources that we can refer that can possibly fill a need.

  • Are you interested in speaking at events?

    Absolutely! We are excited to educate the community and bring awareness about domestic violence. Please reach out via email to request a speaker at your next event (school, church, etc.).

  • Do you have a 24-hour hotline

    At this time we do not have a hot line. If you need immediate help, please call 911. Please see our resources directory to locate a local domestic violence agency.

  • Do you provide housing?

    We currently don’t have any available housing. However, PSA will be begin providing housing for women starting in 2023. Please visit our website regularly for updates on availability.
